Our good friend and host of Real Conversations With Fake People Siike Donnelly has given us an EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK at the new comic book series he is writing (with art by the amazing illustrator Eric Ninaltowski), Monomyth.
Now, what if Michael fell and Lucifer prevented Adam and Eve from eating the apple? Free of sin, the people of Eden live in relative harmony… until Enoch is born. Rebellious, angry, and a natural fighter, Enoch might be just what Eden needs to protect them as Michael’s army returns to annihilate everyone and everything.
Cool, right? Well, that’s the premise of Monomyth. Here is that EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK we’ve been hyping up. It’s art from the first two pages of Issue #3, which will be on sale in September:
Featured on NPR’S Off-Ramp, Nerdist.com, Dan Harmon’s Harmontown, Conversations with Matt Dwyer, and Daniel Glenn’s Fascinating Nouns, Siike has come a long way, overcoming multiple brain aneurysms to once again write and draw the things he loves most: comic books. Monomyth marks his first, official comic book series, released by rising publisher, OSSM Comics.
Siike is signing and selling his work throughout the duration of San Diego Comic Con. Catch him over at Table GG-12 in Artist’s Alley from 9:30am-2pm each day. Follow him on Twitter (@ExplodingBullet) and Instagram (@ElanVitalHasASoul), and use the hashtag #SDatSDCC if you can’t find him or if you want fun, random, nerdy updates from the con.
And you can purchase Monomyth Issue #1 today for only $3.99 from either your favorite local comic shop or online outlet.
